Guava is operated by Potchkey Labs, LLC. By using it, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Guava.
You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, you may use Guava only with the involvement of a parent or guardian. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity under your account.
Recipes you write, photos you post, and everything else you add stays yours. By posting to the Feed or a shared group, you give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, display, and distribute that content inside Guava so the feature works. That license ends when you delete the content, except for copies already shared with other users.
Do not post content you do not have the right to post, and do not post anything unlawful, hateful, harassing, deceptive, or invasive of someone else's privacy. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break this rule.
Read the actual ingredients before you eat or serve anything.
Guava's dietary and allergen labels (vegan, vegetarian, contains nuts, contains gluten, contains dairy) are generated automatically by scanning recipe text for keywords. They are a rough visual cue, not verified allergen data. They will sometimes be wrong in both directions.
The same applies to toddler-friendly tags, portion yields, and cooking times. Guava is a planning tool, not a source of medical, nutritional, or food-safety advice. If you or anyone you cook for has a food allergy, intolerance, or medical dietary requirement, verify every ingredient yourself and talk to a qualified professional.

Guava participates in the Amazon Associates Program and may participate in similar programs with other retailers. Some retailer links in the app are paid links, which means we may earn a commission when you buy something after clicking one. It costs you nothing extra.
A commission does not buy a recommendation. Our product picks reflect what we actually use. Where we say why we recommend something, that is our honest opinion.
When you follow a retailer link or use the shopping features, you leave Guava and deal directly with that retailer under their terms and privacy policy. We do not sell anything, do not process payments, and are not a party to your purchase. We are not responsible for prices, availability, substitutions, delivery, order accuracy, returns, or anything else about a retailer transaction. Prices and availability change constantly; the retailer's own site at the time of purchase is the only accurate source.
The optional Guava Chrome extension acts on your behalf in your own signed-in browser session to add items to a cart. You are responsible for reviewing your cart before you check out. Use of a retailer's website is also subject to that retailer's own terms, which may restrict automated tools. Always confirm the cart contents yourself.
The Guava name, design, code, illustrations, and our own written recipe and product content belong to Potchkey Labs, LLC. You may use them for your own personal, non-commercial use of the app. Please do not copy, scrape, resell, or build a competing product out of them.
Guava is under active development. Features may change, break, or disappear, and we may suspend or discontinue the service. We will try to give notice of significant changes, but we do not promise uninterrupted availability. Back up anything you would be upset to lose.
Guava is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Potchkey Labs, LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data or lost profits, arising out of your use of Guava. Our total liability for any claim relating to Guava will not exceed one hundred US dollars ($100).
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
You agree to indemnify and hold Potchkey Labs, LLC harmless from claims arising out of content you post or your misuse of Guava.
You may stop using Guava and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these terms. Sections 7, 9, 10, and 12 survive termination.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Florida, and you and we consent to that jurisdiction.
We may update these terms. If a change is material we will update the date above and notify you in the app. Continuing to use Guava after a change means you accept the updated terms.
